Messilä Golf

Messilä Golf has an 18 hole golf course and is located in the breathtaking Salpausselkä area. Hotel Messilä guests enjoy special rates at Messilä Golf.

Saunas at Hotel Messilä

Private sauna reservations are available only for groups. Otherwise the saunas are available for guests at hotel Messilä during their regular opening hours.

Hotel Messilä has two separate saunas for men and women, with wash- and dressing rooms, as well as two lounge areas. One of the lounges has a spacious dinner table for our guests. Please note that Hotel Messilä’s saunas are a part of the hotel’s licensed area, and guests are not allowed to bring their own beverages to the saunas or lounges. The sauna lounges have refrigerators, wherein guests can make a drink order for their group. Hotel Messilä also offers catering to the saunas for guests.

Salpausselkä Pro Fishing

Guided fishing and island tours in the stunning lake nature of Päijät-Häme aboard modern accessible vessels. Professional fishing guides and safe vessels are equipped with latest electronics.

Riding school Okeroisten talli

Located just a 10-minute drive from Messilä near Lahti, this riding school is one of the few in Finland to hold the Finnish Equestrian Federation’s quality certificate. Horses live in spacious outdoor active stables and graze freely in large summer pastures.

The riding school offers riding lessons for beginners, private and couples sessions, as well as guided trail rides for groups (weather permitting). Facilities include a large indoor riding arena (23 × 75 m), extensive pastures, and a modern stable.

Jump Up offers quad bike safaris, outdoor activity equipment, and a variety of event services with years of experience. If needed, the rustic blacksmith’s forge can be reserved as a unique break area during activities.

A Ski-Doo snowmobile trip for two is available from €140 per hour, including all necessary equipment.
