Ski Gear Rental Shop
SkiMac offers a wide variety of ski gear, such as alpine,- telemark,- and crosscountry,- snowboarding gear and snowshoes. SkiMac also has a wide variety of ski wax, helmets and other accessories.
Please note that SkiMac does not offer ski goggles for rent.
SkiMac’s staff is happy to assist customers in finding ski gear according to their the correct gear according to each customer’s individual skill level.
Ski Mac Maintenance Shop operates in the same premises as the ski rental shop and offers fast and professional maintenance services for all types of gear, including crosscountry, downhill, and snowboarding gear.
Telemark gear have 75mm -bindings and ski boot system.
Crosscountry ski gear have nnn -bindings and ski boot system..
Monday and Thursday Evening Rentals
SkiMac’s special offer for ski gear rentals on Monday and Thursday evenings.
- Gear package for adults 20 € (alpine, snowboard, telemark, crosscountry)
- Kids gear package 15 € (alpine, snowboard, crosscountry)
The packages also include a helmet.
This offer is not valid during public holidays or during weeks 8 and 9.

Ski Gear Maintenance Shop
The legendary ski maintenance shop TIMANTTIKANTTI Oy, helmed by Kari Rantalainen, operates now under SkiMac Oy Ab. The ski gear maintenance shop is located in a new larger space in Messilä.
SkiMac has invested in new maintenance machinery from SVECOM SKI that guarantee the highest quality service for all ski types. Kari “Kapo” Rantalainen continues to be responsible for the maintenance shop. SkiMac Oy’s Timanttikantti services Finnish and foreign skiers gear, associations and national teams gear as well.

SkiMac maintenance shop is located in Messilä ski center, conveniently only 10 minutes from Lahti by card.
Uusimpien Svecom huoltokoneiden myötä Messilään perustetaan Fischer Grinding Center. Tämä ainutlaatuinen konsepti on lajissaan ensimmäinen maailmassa. Tulevaisuudessa Fischer Grinding Centereitä tulee mm. Norjaan ja Ruotsiin. Fischer Grinding Center tarjoaa kilpahiihtäjille ja myös aktiivihiihtäjille mahdollisuuden hankkia Fischer suksiinsa alkuperäiset tehdaskuvioinnit jotka suksissa ovat olleet niitä hankittaessa.
SkiMac messilä Opening Hours and Contact Information
The Ski rental shop and maintenance shop follow the opening hours of the Messilä slopes. The ski rental shop opens 30 minutes before the slopes open. The ski rental shop also has a skipass sales desk. Please note that the desk sells only hourly tickets.
