Group Reservations

When you make a group reservation in advance through our sales service (messila@messila.fi), your arrival will be smooth and swift. Groups of at least 16 people who book in advance receive a 10% discount on regular ski pass prices. 

Messilä is an excellent location for a variety of events and activities for groups. Anything and everything from associations and  businesses recreational days, to different athletic camps and confirmation camps.

During ski season a conference day can conveniently be combined with a hop on the slopes or freestyle in Messilä’s park and playground. 

Please note that only group reservations made in advance are eligible for billing. If the resevations has not been made in advance, the ski passes must be paid in full at Messilä. Messilä uses electronic invoicing, with an invoicing fee 8 €. For more information on Messilä”s electronic invoicing see here.

Youth Groups

Youth groups, such as congregation youth groups, association youth groups and youth groups from youth centers can receive a discount on ski passes if they make a group reservation in advance.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR YOUTH GROUPS

  • 6 hour ski pass 25 € (full price 48 €)

The offer applies to groups with 16 persons. The discounted ski pass is for group members between 12-18 years of age. Additionally, only group reservations made through Messilä’s sales service (messila@messila.fi) are entitled to the discounted price and can be invoiced. Otherwise the group must pay at Messilä. Group leaders over the age of 18 are not included in the discounted ski pass offer.

School Groups and school recreational days

Messilä ski resort has been a popular destination among Finnish schools for decades. Messilä is located only 15 min away from the city of Lahti and an hour away form the Helsinki capitol region. Messilä offers a variety of wintry activities for students including downhill,- freestyle,- and crosscountry skiing, snowboarding and sledding. Messilä is also located close by to the Hollola and Lahti crosscountry ski routes that are free for everyone to use.

We have upgraded our park and playground in 2024 for freestyle skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. For beginner level freestylers Pikku Parkki in Pikkukylä offers a great place to practice their skills.

A recreational day can include small lighthearted competitions on the slopes, a class with the ski school, of fun in Pikkukylä. Bistro restaurant in Messilä’s yard circle is a great place to take a break and enjoy a snack or lunch.

LHS Ski School and SkiMac Rental and Maintenance Shop operate in Messilä a skier doesn’t have their own gear, it isn’t a problem! SkiMac’s knowledgeable staff is happy to help every skier to find suitable gear for their skill level. If you are interested in downhill skiing, but are unsure if you have enough skill, or if you are looking to learn downhill skiing, LHS Ski School offers group skiing lessons in downhill skiing and snowboarding for students of all skill levels.

School Groups Price List for Season 25/26

  • Pikkukylä area 6 hours pass 7 €
  • All of the slopes 6 hours pass 18 €
  • Ski- or blade set including a helmet 20 €
  • Twin Tip- or telemark set including a helmet 20 €
  • Snowboard set including a helmet 20 €
  • Cross-country gear set 20 €
  • Sled 5 €
  • Helmet 5 €
  • Ski school during winter season 25/26 45 min. 90 € / group. The price of ski teaching does not include a ski pass. Max. 8 students with skis or 4 students with snowboards per lesson.
  • Messilä’s partner Reissu Ruoti Busses is a charter bus service that we recommend to our customers, who are looking for transportation to Messilä.

One teacher / group leader can ski and have lunch free of charge per 15 paying students. This offer requires an advance booking and is not available on week 8. The billing fee for invoices is 8 €.

In regards to gear rentals, please contact SkiMac rental service directly. SkiMac opens 30 minutes before the slopes open.

Ski teaching should be booked in advance directly from LHS Ski School.

Slopebus transport should be booked in advance directly from Reissu Ruoti.
