Messilä is now part of the Bikeland Finland Welcome Cyclist network. This means that our services have been developed to meet the needs of cyclists and provide a convenient, cyclist-friendly stop. Messilä is also included on the Welcome Cyclist map, making it easy to stop by directly along your route.
Cyclist Services in the Lahti Region
Messilä is located near popular cycling and outdoor routes in the Lahti and Hollola area, making it a natural stop for both mountain bikers and leisure cyclists. Our services have been specifically developed with cyclists in mind. At Messilä, you can charge your e-bike battery, refill your water bottle, and take a break at the café. Basic bike maintenance tools are available, along with facilities for washing your bike after your ride.
Our staff are happy to provide route tips and guide you to cyclist-friendly services in the area. The Lahti region offers a wide variety of routes for all skill levels, and Messilä works as an excellent base for exploring them.
Summer Café at Hotel Messilä Reception
During the summer season, a summer café operates at the reception of Hotel Messilä. The café offers coffee, refreshments, ice cream and a selection of other café products. The summer café is open during the hotel’s reception hours, and you are welcome to visit even if you are not staying at the hotel.
